You are right! The difference is technology brings it into our homes.

Everytime I login, I marvel that I can do this comfortably at home, 24/7, without the logistics of going to a brick & mortar casino.

I enjoy going to the local casino up to a couple of times a month just for a change of scenery & emotions.

I compare the marvel of going to the local dispensary for some sweet colitas legally. That's crazy shiet.

I only play for emotions. The casino gives me unique emotions that not everyone can feel)

Yes, I am new to this & I agree it does the same for me too. Do you consider the emotions positive or otherwise? My guess is positive when winning.

That's how it is for me. When I am not doing well, I have a difficult time. I forget about my stop/loss & lose my mind, then the bankroll is gone.

If only emotions, then okay. But when excitement and greed begin, gambling addiction can begin there.

I hope that people play for emotions, but in fact I understand that with the wrong approach, illness begins .. And I'm not sure that an addicted person can honestly admit that.

Greed. Avidity sounds better. Yes, I have experienced & have succumbed to it. I surmise greed is something most people possess. It affects everyone differently, good or bad depending on a person's upbringing, education, skills & integrity Avidity can motivate a person to do great things & another to commit crimes.

What I need to do is quit while I'm ahead. I believe that most gamblers have been ahead during a session, but greed, avidity prevents people from pulling the plug, & ends up losing money won & then some.

What I have trouble with is adhering to my stop loss. When I started playing roulette last December 8th, with $611 & January 7th it was $10,385. My winning continued. Starting with a $2000 bankroll on January 8th, turned into $10,690 on January 31st. I withdrew $4,000.

Then greed took over. With a $6,680 bankroll, I gonna win $5000 in a session. I ended up losing my bankroll over the next 2 days.

My system that won didn't work anymore. As of now it doesn't win like it had. I have a physical roulette wheel, & my system wins on it. This is what makes me believe that it's rigged. My problem is, it's not what I believe, it's what I can prove, & I can't prove Nada. Go figure.

I know that the casino almost always lets you win first. I can't provide proof, but the feeling is that the larger the bet, the less likely it is to win. As if the casino code is written like that :)

kurt03
hace 1 año

I have noticed that myself. I tend to win smaller bets, then I'll increase the bets & after a few wins the losses start. While trying to recover, the wheel comes off. This is where I need to not let my emotions take over, & stop.

I'm getting ready to deposit $500. As a low roller, I'll set a target of $50 a session, 3 sessions a day. That's the strategy I started with last December with a $611 bankroll. I need to be patient & I should be ok.

Looks like being a high roller is not profitable at alll

I think you're right. Eversince I had won $10k last December & January, I've been on a losing streak. A friend suggested I should go to the local casino, because online casinos are rigged & are now are getting their money back that I had won

Several years ago before I started gambling, I went with a friend who played blackjack. Just being there was uncomfortably overwhelming. He believes online casinos are rigged but brick & mortar casinos aren't. He might be right & the only way to overcome my fear is to go & do it anyway. I just might do that considering I'm on a losing streak playing online.

Have you gambled at a casino? Is it better to go when it's not busy? Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Wow 10k dollars is a big win. Did you manage to withdraw without problems?

If you are asking about land-based casinos, then I have never been there. So I can't give any advice🙁

By the way, I don't really understand what kind of fear you're talking about?

Yes, I withdrew thousands of winnings without problems. I request using Bitcoin. It's the fastest method, I request on Sunday & it's in my checking account on Tuesday, but there's fees. I started using Bitcoin for deposits. There's 6-8% to buy bitcoins, & a smaller fee to send it to the casino. The casino doesn't charge fees with Bitcoin. After the casino send my Bitcoin to my crypto wallet, I initiate to sell it & transfer USD to my bank, Chime. There's fees for doing that. I've started using MoneyGram, who charges $10, but the casino credit it for deposits over $300. I'll always withdraw using Bitcoin because I get my money faster. I don't mind the fee, at least I don't pay fees to deposit since I always deposit $300 or more.

As for my fear. Gambling in a real casino. Surrounded by strangers. Personally I believe real casinos don't rig their roulette & that's why I'm planning on going to the local casino & see how my systems do. It's a 20 minute drive away. I like online because it's convenient.

With the exception of my opinion that I've been cheated, everything else is up & up. If you're interested in this casino lemme know. I'd like to see how their referral program work. I think we both benefit.

You need help? I can't promise that I can help you until I know what you need help with.

Lets start with that. Hopefully, after you explain what help you need, I'll know if I can.

Hello, zorans71. I have read the link you shared, & it has opened my mind indeed. Thank you! I am fairly new to all of this, Gambling. I just turned 64 last month, on May 16th & before last year I didn't like gambling. The only gambling that I ever did was on my own skill in bowling & golf. I couldn't see risking hard-earned money on something where I had no control over the outcome. I know lots of people who lose thousands in video gaming & still continue doing so. I have an analytical mindset & understand risking money on a push of a button is crazy. About 2 years ago while online, roulette came into my life. I believed it was almost impossible to win. Predicting where the ball will rest requires ESP or luck & I wasn't going to risk money on either. It wasn't until I looked into the rules of play. I believe you cannot judge anything by its cover. I found out that roulette was more than placing a wager on a number. There are 11 ways a wager can be placed & by combining 2 or more can increase the odds of winning, & here I am. It took over a year before I wagered real money. I played demo roulette every spare time I had, trying hundreds of systems. I have won over 2 million or more in practice roulette. I was involved in a car crash 2 years ago & couldn't work. I'm retired on a small retirement & decided to play roulette to supplement my income. I started with $611 & decided $1500 a month would be enough. That comes to $50 a day. I started doing 1 session a day, ending when I had won $50 or so. 30 days later I had won $10,385. That was the most money I had made in a month. I started the next 30 days on a faster pace. With a bankroll of $2500, I had reached $10,690, in 25 days. While I was doing that I went on a spending spree with the $7800 I withdrew from the previous month. This time I withdrew $5690, leaving $5,000 for my bankroll. That's when I lost my mind. In practice with $5000 bank, I had doubled that at least 15 times, & that was what I intended to do. Yes, that was stupid. I lost it all in one session. Why doesn't the system that I used to win thousands, struggle to win now? That is why I suspect cheating.

My monthly bills is more than my pension & that's where what I had won has gone to. That was 4 months ago. Since then I had on 4 occasions with $200- $300 each played roulette without success. I'm due to receive compensation from that car wreck soon & I'm planning on assigning $2500-$5000 towards my bankroll.

I came up with this mantra when I started this it's..." Be disciplined, be smart, stay focused & play without emotions." I didn't do that & lost. I'd love to get your rules if I may. Honestly, because of what I had accomplished playing roulette, I intend on continuing playing roulette. $1500_ $2000 a month is my target, but after winning about $20k in 2 months, I'll be tempted to win more. I believe that if I can control my emotions I'll be alright. Thank you for taking the time in reading my experience. I truly appreciate you. My name is Robert & email is pinseekerpdx@gmail.com

El juego es rampante en estos días y me preguntaba por qué la gente lo juega.

There are multiple reasons I believe.

  1. They want to get rich and they believe gambling is the right way, but you just need to be a bit lucky. (which isn't true, you need to be extremely lucky from the long-term perspective)
  2. They want to have fun. They like to spin the slots, they like the different games and in-game features. It's also very comfortable to play from your home, on a holiday, while going back from work...you just need your phone for it.
  3. They like the feeling, the tension, that the very next spin can bring a big win. Even though it's related to the point 1, you don't necessarily play to get rich, but you like the feeling that it may happen on the next spin.

There are certainly many other reasons, but I believe it's all related to the 2 key points - you want to win money and you want to have fun.

Many players notice that the more you start betting, the less chance you have of winning. Perhaps the casino code is written in such a way that the winning percentage is lower, with a higher bet. But that's a guess...
