I've already done a thread but Need help.

I'm fully aware now that 3rd party deposit aren't aloud but at the time I wasn't.

My card was having issues with connecting to visa as tried 3 times to deposit so used my friend's card with concent and I transferred funds from my account to there prior to every deposit.

I deposit around 5k so around 5 deposits and had withdrawal excepted and paid out of 8000. Nothing was flagged up about anything and at the time didn't even consider I was in the wrong.

The next day I thought if carry on from where I was didn't go to plan and deposited around 22000 and ended up requesting 28000 .

Not at any point during around 10 deposits was anything flagged.

There is nothing fraudulent with any of this .

Betfred didn't even ask about fraud or didn't even want to Contact the card holder or want any information regarding this.

If I would of lost I'd fully understand no refund but I was 6000 in profit and why aren't my deposit being refunded as it states

In terms that Amy deposits will be void and winnings Invalid.

There is no fraud Involved it was my money and they had stole all of it and I can't even contact them to discuss.

I don't need advice on 3rd party deposit trust me I've read everything just want to know where I stand and what to do next as I can't just let them take 22000 off me

Submit a complaint on here and see what they reply. I don't like big gambling companies like Betfred they are ruthless and heartless all they care about is their profits they have no customer care

Like nigel said, file a complaint with guru. I believe you, it was a mistake, you didn't know making a deposit with someone's else deposit method was a breach of T&C specially when they happily took previous deposits with that card and had no problems with you losing these funds, they would be 100% right if they closed your account on the very first deposit you made with that card, but the fact they allowed you to make more deposits with it makes me think they turned a blind eye on it maliciously, Betfred is not a small bookmaker that can't keep a proper surveillance of deposits and withdrawals, when you register you provide your name and you use the card holder name to make a deposit, how is the deposit not automatically rejected if the name of the site account and the card name are different? Like I said, they would be undeniably right if they closed your account on the very first deposit, but why they allowed you to make more deposits and lose said funds? While I understand operators must enforce T&C, they should also analyze each case individually, specially when they didn't properly enforce their own policies when the very first breach was committed by the user.

Another thing I would like to point: let's say someone uses a stolen card to deposit, what if the owner of the card (lets say a debit one) instead of submitting a report to the issuing bank (which is what everyone does because it's the correct procedure) decided to contact the casino to report the fraudulent transaction and requested a reimbursement of the stolen funds? What would happen in such case? I'm thinking about a possible solution for you, but I fear it's really complex and can get you a lot of problems, said solution doesn't include any ADR, you will need help from the card owner and his/her willingness to report a card fraud to the issuing bank and this wouldn't be a guaranteed solution, but it would be your last option. I wish you good luck!

Hey.

Really appreciate the feedback .

The fact there terms say a 3rd party transaction is fraud. They Haven't even contacted the cold holder or mentioned anything relating to that because know it was a fraudulent transaction because I sent copies of both bank statements which clearly shows not at any point any funds where deposited that weren't mine.

I wouldn't of continued doing what I was doing if the Original 5 deposit s and security checked withdrawal were processed.

I've emailed a few solicitors that deal with these issues see how that goes.

I have a few things going in my favour. But all they want is to steal my money .

Also noted they haven't even mentioned the withdrawal that's was paid because they know it shouldn't of happened and there security process failed.

I'm absolutely pissed off in the way I've been treated.

If nothing seems to work, have the solution I mentioned on mind, it could get you in a lot of troubles but it's worth a shot if everything else fails. If you approach any ADR they will probably reject your complaint because the breach of T&C is quite obvious, and if said ADR does follow your complaint I doubt Betfred would be interested in cooperating, but still, filing a complaint is your first option so give it a go. Also I would like to recommend being extremely careful from now on, read every bookie T&C carefully and make sure you understand everything and always approach each site support if something is not clear. For now try filing a complaint, if it doesn't work don't get upset, you still have options, good luck, I can't imagine how it feels losing 20k like this, max I have lost so far is something around 300 euros in a problem related to withdrawal from a casino and I know how tilting it is. I truly wish you good luck!

Thanks buddy

I'll let you know the outcome. I've looked at multiple casinos and 3rd party cards get instantly rejected on 1st deposit

See? I was not wrong, it's obvious these kind of deposits must be rejected automatically! I will be following your case, again, best of luck

They are letting people do this fully knowing that if they lose nothing gets said and when they win they take every thing .

It's so wrong.

Its free money and card fraud never gets mentioned . Just take money. Close account and block all communication

This must happen all the time. I've gambled for 30 years and I didn't know that so this must happen all the time .

If I get my money back you have my word I'll sort you both out a zero deposit bonus !

I'm going for the full 28000 .

Bear In mind over the past 15 years with betfrd I've deposited around 400.000 and banked nearly 450.00 so I'm.a valued customer I'd say even though I'm in profit over that period

If they end up unresponsive I would recommend you cutting to the chase and try what I told you before (the card owner reporting a card fraud to the issuing bank), but that solution is still the drastic one, next step would be you trying to solve this with an ADR like thepogg, if you do so give explicit details of your case to them

I just want to point out that when you report some card deposits as a fraud, you may get banned in a whole chain of casinos since they share this information together. So it's always good to consider if it's worth it.

I'm not going down that route.

Before ever transaction there will be a bank transfer from my account and tbh to much of a good boy to do that

Feel free to write here about the problem you had and give an update. It's a year old so it's quite interesting and maybe it will be helpful for other players who go through this thread. Of course I have to read about what happened to you to understand the news as well.

So I will wait for the answer. 😉
