Although this casino bills itself as a sticky bonus, it is in fact quite different from a typical casino sticky bonus.

When I finish the bonus, the amount of my loss is deducted from my account once more.

This is a confusing casino, as no such rule can be found in the terms and conditions.

Hi there!

I'm not convinced I understood clearly. Could you help me with that?

To me, it sounds like a good idea to describe the situation using an example, preferably with amounts.

You took this sticky bonus; how much did you get? What happened then, please?

I'd love to understand what went wrong. By the way, did you ask the chat or support about it? This is also a great hint.

I don't understand it either.

There is no calculation method in the terms of service, and support has not been able to explain it properly.

I suggest you deposit money into the casino and see for yourself.

Hello,

Currently, the formula for calculating what happens in the case of a sticky bonus is the following:

Balance when completing wagering - (Initial Bonus - (Balance when completing wagering - initial bonus))

The result is your final balance, after completing wagering requirements. Usually, this results in a slightly higher balance than simply deducting the initial bonus from your current balance.

If you do the math, it will eventually be zero.

The deposit amount of this casino is integrated with the bonus,

balance disappears as soon as the wagering requirements are met.

(All winnings from real money wagers are added to the bonus, so real money is lost immediately.)

It is certainly not a sticky bonus in a typical casino.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We agree that this is not a typical sticky bonus. We are currently hosting internal discussions and considering changing this formula - if that happens, we will post an update here.

However, in all of the scenarios we internally ran, the amount that is deducted from a player's balance is always lower than the initial bonus amount, making this a more advantageous formula for users.

In the meantime, we have updated the wording in the bonus terms and conditions, in hopes that this brings more clarity to our players.

It is not right that the balance is reduced when the wagering requirement is achieved in the first place.

If it is a general sticky bonus,

Use the bonus after real money is lost,

The system should be such that if the wagering requirements are met and the balance is increased over the initial bonus, the difference is withdrawn.

It is too unfavorable to have a system that reduces your balance while also limiting your ability to wager with real money after you have made a deposit.

What you say sounds reasonable, like the most common situation when it comes to regular sticky bonuses.

Though I must admit, I'm positively surprised by the casino representative's approach.

Allow me to quote from the Casino Academy Free e-course focused on bonuses:

"The term sticky bonus is used to describe bonuses, in which the initial bonus amount is deducted from the player’s account when making a withdrawal. This allows casinos to give players bigger bonuses, as the initial amount ends up being deducted if the player manages to win something and complete the wagering requirements.

For example, a sticky $100 no deposit bonus will give the player $100 to play for free; however, the $100 will be deducted when the player completes the wagering requirements and requests a withdrawal. So, if the player ends up having $300 in their account, they will only be allowed to withdraw $200 ($300 – $100)."

Do you agree with this concept?

Hello!

I truly appreciate your cooperation and care. If you ever wish to see other's suggestions or examples, don't hesitate to browse this project called Casino Guru Academy:

https://academy.casino.guru/

There is one e-course dedicated to bonuses; you might find it useful, though it's completely up to you, of course!

(You may even provide us with feedback 🙂)

Yes. I too believe that is what a sticky bonus is.

But this casino has a completely different set of rules.

For example, if you deposit $100 and get a $100 bonus,

combined, you start with a $200 bonus.

When you meet the wagering requirements, you have $150.

Then, the first bonus of $100 is subtracted from that,

Subtract the remaining $50 from the first $100 bonus, which is $50.

As a result, this $50 is said to be the sticky bonus,

In fact, it immediately disappears from the balance, leaving only $100 in cash.

And the higher the percentage of the bonus, the more of the balance that disappears.

For example, if you deposit $100 and get a $200 bonus,

combined, you start with a $300 bonus.

Suppose you have $200 when you meet the wagering requirements.

Then, subtract the first bonus of $200 from it,

Subtract the remaining $0 from the first bonus of $200, which is $200.

And there is no cash left because the $200 is immediately eliminated from your balance.

I have been to several casinos and this is the first time I have seen such a complicated system.

The casino claims it is a sticky bonus, but it is almost a scam.

In the case detailed by you, the formula that applies is the following:

$150-($100-($150-$100) = $150-($100-$50) = $150-$50 = $100 in funds left after you complete the wagering.

In a `"normal" sticky bonus scenario, the calculation would indeed be simpler, but not more advantageous - since $150 - $100 = $50 left in real funds.

In the second case, our system has the same result as a normal sticky bonus - since your initial bonus amount is $200 and it's deducted from your balance, you are left with $0 in both scenarios.

Another difference with us is that, instead of deducting the sticky bonus when attempting to withdraw, we deduct it once it's transferred to real funds (wagering requirements complete).

There is no limit to the $100 in real money deposited in the regular sticky bonus.

A typical sticky bonus is used when you lose all of your real money.

This casino's bonus is an integrated bonus with very low limits.

Hello,

I can't get a response from anybody from Freespino for my e-mails during this weekend. The chat is not available too (during weekdays contact and time of response are very good).

Maybe the representative of the casino will be able to answer for my request here. The point is that it's important thing to me and I need to know it today.

I will be grateful for help. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. My username at casino is rekin777.

Kind regards,

Jakub

I think this is exactly what it should look like. I'm satisfied when I see that the players and the casino are able to resolve the situation without unnecessary problems. I hope that you will have a good time and that you will continue to be happy in the casino. Good luck. ☘️

We have an update on this - after some internal discussions, we've decided to update the formula for sticky bonuses in a similar manner to what other casinos are doing, to avoid any player confusion.

The formula now is:

Balance When Completing Wagering - Initial Bonus = Final Cashable Balance

We've added information about this on every promotion page, and updated the terms and conditions to reflect this.

Perfect, hopefully now there will be players who will be confused as little as possible. I wish you all the best.  😊😊👍
