99% of my Revolut chargebacks were declined. Between 2023 and 2024 I used my Revolut card exclusively to gamble. The only casino I ever played is www.maximum.casino . This casino used (in my case) +25 merchants, some of them pretending to sell fashion items, computers, heating equipment, jewelries, shoes, books, translation services, etc. For each transaction I tried to raise chargeback under Goods not delivered, Revolut rejected my query. There's no chance to open / reopen any chargeback.

My final step is to complaint to FOS and I really don't know how to put this. Shall I be honest? I was honest with another bank about gambling and they rejected me straight away.

Gambling is fair and regulated in the UK and I 100% agree! This mob are a scam and you are never getting paid out when you win.

They prey on Gamstop UK self exclusion customers and are set up to rinse them.

So anyone who comes on here trolling about a 'free roll' is a complete muppet.

I'm in the middle of my argument with Revolut however I shall be publishing all the details very soon and it;s a lot of money.

As for gambling? I'm off gamstop now, I did use kwiff but since I've seen what I gave these cockroaches its seriously made me think about my behaviour and I have not gambled since and nor do I have the urge to.

Some of them were rejected because of the timeframe, some of them because of the 3Ds authentification. One of the merchant provided fabricated invoices, I tried to appeal it, explained Revolut that the details in the invoices don't belong to me, merchant selling fixed coin packs, i have no account with merchant, etc but I was ignored. Another rejection: I approved the transaction manually and I confirmed that I wish to proceed. Another reason: Card rules - Unfortunately we don't have dispute rights. Agree that I authorized the payments, but the goods or services never been delivered. Even for the timeframe rejection I said that the goods delivery date supposed to be 1st Jan 2025 (custom made products).

Revolut are complete scum - they genuinely have no idea what they are doing. Same with all the newer online banks- they do not actually know the chargeback rules.

Nobody should be scared to mention the transactions are fake gambling payments to these banks but the fact is if it is mentioned then it's normally game over. This has to change.


These shit banks are getting out of having to do any work by seeing the word 'gambling' and automatically rejecting chargebacks. If the amounts you have spent are material enough then get a civil lawyer as they will demolish the banks claims almost instantly - the legal framework is there and it's clear - the banks just won't do anything until they are threatened with legal action.

I've just had a reply from the email I sent to the gambling commission and in their reply they said that the websites in question do not hold a UK license therefore 'it is illegal to transact with, or advertise to, consumers in Great Britain'


They have also sent me a list of 10 questions regarding this and asking for any chat transcripts, the merchants names, bank statements showing deposits and they will pass all the information on to one of their specialists who look into illegal gambling activity.

I'll get my reply to them this afternoon.

Just what I wanted is this reply from them, perfect.

Revolut don't care what the UK Gambling Commission say - they will do anything to squirm out of chargebacks. Goods and Services not received is the only way you will ever get them as long as you don't mention gambling and it's within the protection period.

Misuse of Chargeback Time Limits (e.g. 120 Days): If the bank dismissed your claim on the basis of a strict time limit, explain why that doesn’t fairly apply — especially if you only later realised what the transactions were or discovered that the merchants were acting illegally

I am not pushing at all - I have been through it with Revolut and eventually went legal to recover my funds. I know how they work - genuinely scary that they are allowed to operate at all. They are also bankers for a large number of merchants that people have mentioned on this thread - coincidence? I don't think so.
