The main note is visa will do the MCC so straight away it’s near impossible for them to come back, Mastercard only doing goods not received enables these fraudsters to challenge it and it is pure luck I have two low values no contest but waiting now on Artstrid and Finnart apparently Finnart do challenge looking at this forum.

1. Tell the bank that they actually don't offer online books (Grottobook) only sells physicals books.

2. Login there with ur email, or make an account with the same email used to make a complain, to check order details there.


3. Compare prices, with what they will cost now. Try to find a page where you can go back in time on that page and check the prices they had listed the books for then.


The bank SHALL go through their evidence, and then your answer to their evidence


Been in dispute with Fomiline UAB for months now. Won against quickbit and bitsent. Only coinshop.work left.

We should all report these two companies to this email. I already have if we mass email maybe they'll look into it. I also added support@grottobook.com to the same email.


How long did they take to respond? I have a chargeback with a few of them on it - did your bank side with them?

I am writing to inform you that the company under the number listed above is a fraudulent third party vendor THAT DOES NOT sell any goods, but have been linked to charging credit cards and not refunding these transactions. 


I have never done any business nor received any goods from them. My bank is also looking into these companies (MYDATES and Grottobooks - both that are licensed under the company number 15224878) 


I have sent information to the public relations in the UK in regards to fraud, and I am forwarding this information to you. You should investigate the legitimacy and authenticy of this company as they are money laundering and committing illegal activity.

Is mastercard the yellow n red globes logo as my bank raised all of mine mcc and I think it is mastercard debit

Yeah it is, I think looking at a post probably 2 pages a go they used to but now won’t due to an influx of claims? Which is silly as there is a code for doing it on Mastercard, I do wonder if it’s Mastercard saying this or just our banking system in the UK

You answered in different replies, so I'm hoping that I will answer on everything here.


1. You have got respond from groombook.com, not mydates. If its mydates who I listed on the transaction, there is already a incorrect merchant who responded and that's enough for getting money back.


2. Check spam box in mail if you have recieved the code there for your "forgot PW:


3. If not, then take screenshot of that. More can't you provide. Then tell them that you aren't able to get the "books" they are saying due to that you actually not have purchased them..


Remember that research methods is a course often used by master degrees. Why should a normal guy in the street have use for that book. (That is the worst course for master degrees btw).


AND FOR THOSE REQUESTING FOMILINE. I can't put the mails I have due to confidentiality in this active case on coinshop.work. Will do that after I have eon 🙂

I have done everything you said above in your reply already 🙂 thanks TheGambler! It is MYDATES who are disputing not grotobook, but obviously the same company. Grotobook has not disputed any as far as I am aware. I'll ring the bank tomorrow🙂 filei have used this picture in my email also as well as everything else clearly showing that MYDATES trades as Grotobook.

I imagine it’s at the bank’s discretion and looking at others many are being awkward, I know Chase will not entertain it. Just glad my main ones were VISA the ones on Chase are minimal and just a bonus if they come through.

Hi was that 45 days from when you filed the dispute?

I have some going on with them and it's got me worried. Was it a large amount?

Has anyone not had them come back if you said goods not received?

Which helps no one does it, Barclaycard said gambling no chargeback but quickly sorted out after a complaint and visa terms etc. Chase are a different breed hence these ones I have gone goods not received will see what comes end of Jan, the two companies are no longer replying.

Was this a credit card? Did you managed to get a screenshot of the terms that also says you can get a refund up to 365days from the order if less than 10% or something near that is only read

Sorry for bit falsely information.

Grottobook.com is licensed by mydates LDT, so therefore it is correct that they are trying to resolve the dispute. I thought it was the dating side, "mydates"


But their so-called location is wrong. No company called mydates or grottobook is on the location on their webpage.


In the terms on grottobook.com, it is stated that they sell ebooks, but when I tried ordering, they needed delivery information to my post adress.


They also have 365 days refund policy got valid reason. You haven't recieved the books, not any confirmation on the books (receipt). Neither any answer from them (mails).. THIS IS valid reasons for refund.


You should try call the number with private number, an Check if the line is open..


The owners is Latvian registered in Edinburgh as extra information
